Akerton Partners has advised Centros Scientia School in obtaining new financing in order to continue with its strategic and growth plan in the education sector in Spain.
To raise the funds, the company has worked with MiraltaBank, for the acquisition of a cooperative school in Madrid and with Caja Rural Central for the acquisition of another subsidised school in Denia. Both transactions are part of the Scientia Group’s strategy of inorganic growth, acquiring the assets and business operations of its two centres.
Centros Scientia School focuses on the integrated management of formal education centres, including both the administrative and educational services of schools and professional training. It promotes educational innovation in all its centres, using technology and innovation in materials and teaching processes as a driver through Ecreatus.
