Akerton’s Real Estate and Infrastructure team acted as financial advisor for Martín Casillas Group in order to build a private car park. For the demand estimation Akerton used economic and other traffic data released by the Spanish Government such as local GDP, CPI, unemployment rate, peak traffic hours, peak daily demand, other car parks in the area, number of car registrations, points of high demand (such as a nearby hospitals), and parked vehicles, among others.
The study estimated the demand for four years, splitting revenues from rotation users and pass card holders.
